Arrived with broken arm chair and very hard surface to sit on

These chairs are quite charming and ideally sized. They offer good stability and are easy to assemble; however, they are rather firm, which can make them a bit uncomfortable without additional padding. Despite this, I intend to keep them, with the hope that they will become more yielding over time. They are exact as shown.

Chair seat is stiffer than expected. Also the matching pillow is okay... not the best quality.
