Lit plateforme Frome

We went on a limb and got this bed without any reviews so I am the first one! I honestly love this bed. The first two pieces that I took out of the box though…… they don’t look good BUT they were the only bad pieces of wood. Everything is SOLID and good bolts. The bolts did come in a bag, mixed together but having the instructions helped us figure out what was what. It says no tools required, you have to drill in the screws but that wasn’t a problem for us, just a heads up.

This bed is terrible. First of all, the wooden planks that make up the platform are not sanded down so there are little pieces of the wood sticking up all over them. Secondly, all four sides of the the frame had scratches on it. Lastly, the headboard has a huge scratch as well, right at the top near the middle. The headboard also feels flimsy once attached to the frame. Please see the attached photos for reference. This was extremely disappointing and I don’t see how the bed could have even gotten so many scratches on it in the first place what could possibly be happening in the warehouse it’s stored in It looked great in the pictures on Wayfair and would be okay in-person minus the scratches and rough wood on the planks. But certainly not worth the almost 600 I paid.
