The color of the wood is completely different from the photo. It came in this nasty dirty wood color. The patterns on the wood are messy

This is a great little entertainment center. We were able to get it together eventually, decided to take out the middle shelf. It looks great and works well for the kids' media room in the basement. Sturdy, very heavy, and low enough to the ground I'm not worried about it tipping over on a child. The colors are more modern, however the light wood does have a touch of gray in it, which I like.
