The bed was great for exactly 1 year. It got normal wear and tear for a 4 year old meaning he occasionally jumped on it and us as parents would lay down with him for 30 minutes and read a book. The frame split in two right in the middle.

DO NOT BUY these beds. While they went together easily and look fantastic, the quality and design is lacking. I've had these for about a year and a half now and I've filed 3 claims for replacement parts because the horizontal frames keep cracking. I am using these for children, so they are not even being used by anyone heavy, but because there is no center support they are not structurally sound and keep breaking.

To expensive for it to last less than a year.

I love love love this bed. Very sturdy, solid wood. Just beautiful. I ordered the white but read the reviews prior to ordering and it really is a light gray but light gray worked better than white for me. It was a pain to put together due to useless directions but luckily my husband is handy but still took him 4 hours to put the first one together. I bought 2. The second one was much easier.

Beautiful bed. We ordered 3 for each of our kids. 2 of the 3 have broken in half. The wood just split and they only sleep on them. Very disappointed about the sturdiness.
