i bought this for a small apartment to be able to work and eat at the couch. unfortunately, it is very small but the height is the larger issue. when it is open, it is difficult to fit anyone's thighs under it. makes it difficult. building it a lone is near impossible as you need to hold the table top alone while trying to attach. several of the screw holes didn't line up so i ended up skipping it. i would recommend investing in a larger table.
