I’ve been looking for a coffee table that didn’t feel like flat pack furniture and this one delivered, the solid mango wood construction is immediately noticeable when you unbox it, it has a real weight and density to it that you don’t get with manufactured wood pieces. The walnut finish is warm and rich in person, photos do it justice but the natural grain variation up close gives it a character that makes each table a little different which I actually liked. At 44 inches long it fits our living room proportions well without overwhelming the space and the clean straight leg silhouette works with our modern transitional setup without looking out of place. Assembly was pretty straightforward for the most part, the only part that gave me a little trouble was getting the drawer removed and reseated during setup, it took some fiddling to get it aligned properly and sliding smoothly, just something to be patient with. Once it was in though it opens and closes cleanly. The drawer itself is a decent size for stashing remotes, coasters or whatever small clutter tends to collect on a coffee table, and since it’s integrated flush into the front it doesn’t disrupt the clean look of the piece. The surface feels solid underfoot when you accidentally bump it and at 99 lb weight capacity it handles books and decor without any flex. The handcrafted construction means the joinery and finish details look intentional rather than mass produced. For a solid wood coffee table at this price point it punches well above its weight and we’re happy with it in the space.
