I ordered 4 of these, open box. They are absolutely perfect. No issue at all with them. Very very pleased.

I ordered two of these stools. The first stool to arrive had clearly been returned by another costumer. The packaging was opened and missing some hardware and instructions. It also had a number of large scratches. I sent an email requesting a refund and never received a response. I opted for the automated 20% refund and it was the only way I would get any kind of resolution. But I do feel it is very poor practice to ship out items that have been returned by other costumers for being defective.
