I bought these stools and soon noticed powder collecting at the bottom of the stool legs. Since I had just assembled them, I assumed it was somehow related to the hardware being screwed into the wood, so I retightened everything. The powder kept appearing at the base of the stools, and after dealing with it for a while, I inspected the stools more closely and found tiny holes being bored into the legs. Those holes were not there when I first put them together. It looks like the stools may have been shipped with wood-boring insects or some kind of boring bug infestation already inside the wood. Very disappointing quality and not what I expected.
