I watched the assembly of this bed. It’s clearly very sturdy, with strong slats and a central heavy board down the middle to support the slats. It’s handsome as well. However, with a modern 12” deep mattress, the headboard only extends 2.5” above the mattress (without any mattress pad or sheets) so it remains to be seen how comfortable this is for sleepers, since the headboard will not provide much support for their pillows. I needed a bed with a low headboard but not quite this low!
