Great product. Looks very good after assembly. It turned my small space into a fifth bedroom and is showing well for the sale of my house. The color stands out

I bought this because I was looking for a wardrobe for my 3 year old. I wanted something small but had a lot of shelves. I didn't want a lot of hanging space since most of her clothes is really small and hanging them would be wasted space. I was previously using a dresser but it was overflowing and felt like it was taking up too much horizontal space. I got the white one for about $200. Note: it comes in two boxes. Packaged well with styrofoam on the sides and corners and in between. One box is 90lbs so it's hard to move. I imagine shippers are going to treat it roughly. This closet is made out of MDF. It's harder to work with and it's quite difficult to put in the screws because there aren't any pilot holes, just pin size holes on the surfaces. And there are a ton of screws. My hand hurts from constructing it. What I like: This wardrobe has a lot of room and compartments. I like that it has 5 shelves, the other compartment can be filled with bigger items like extra blankets, etc. It looks nice. The laminate and paint work is decent. It doesn't have the smooth, polished look as name brand furniture. What I didn't like: This wardrobe never felt quite sturdy during the build. When I had the basic wardrobe structure built, it wobbled. I added the braces thinking it would help but it still swayed. At one point my 3 year old came in and leaned on it a bit and I honestly was scared she would bring it down. It was only after I added the backing (which I will say is more substantial than most furniture backing) that it stopped swaying left and right. I am kind of wary about having to rely on the backing to hold the closet together though. I think the issue is the closet has you stacking the sides on top of the horizontal boards so there is nothing that is stopping if from swaying left and right. The pegs for the adjustable shelves are actually screws. That means if you want to adjust the shelves you have to unscrew the screws and screw it into placement. But if you decide to change it back, the screws will probably not hold as well. Conclusion: If it wasn't on sale for $200 I probably wouldn't get this. It's not as sturdy and required more work than building a similarly priced closet found at a local store. It doesn't feel as solid as other closets I've put together. This closet sacrifices hanging space for shelves and is good for smaller spaces.
