Sturdier than I thought it would be. Exactly as pictured online. I made the mistake of putting it all together myself (2.5 hrs) so do yourself a favor and get someone to lend a hand. Even though some parts are particle board there are some more heavy duty wood pieces that make it sturdier and feel higher quality when it all comes together. 5 out of 5 would recommend.

The cabinet is very nice and assembly was not too difficult. We ordered 2 and glad we did. Have ordered a cabinet for the middle to finish off the new look. Only issue I had was shipping damage by FedEx. It’s minor and able to hide it but things this need heavy need better boxes.

This is a gorgeous bookshelf. Somewhat challenging to put together but well worth it!
