The 3 stars are for the very fair cost and excellent shipping from Wayfair. I will definitely keep ordering from Wayfair but this unit is not as nice as it appears here. It is heavy but not sturdy at all. I was shocked at how unsteady this piece was after painstakingly bolting all the pieces together. The directions are pictures only and this worked fine until it was time to put the back pieces on. They are NOT as shown in the pictures here. They are fairly thin pieces of particle board. The two larger pieces are taped together, allowing them to bend lengthwise, I guess? One of the pieces tore apart while I was attempting to place it. There is a bag with many brackets that are supposed to go somewhere to further hold the back pieces on...but I still haven't figured that out yet. Final thoughts: If anyone looks closely at this unit it will be very plain that it is just heavy particle board covered with a wood look veneer. From a distance, this will look fine. The glass doors definitely give a nice touch.
