It was very short. Very very very short. It looks silly in my kitchen. It doesn 't even look like an island it looks like a child's dresser. Now i'm trying to figure out what i'm going to do with it. Am I going to get it fixed? Or am I going to just order something completely different? But i'm definitely not happy with it. At all.

Good basic island for a kitchen needing more counter and drawer space. Just like all the other reviews said, its incredibly short and about 6 inches shorter than our kitchen counters, so we plan to modify the legs to make it taller and maybe add doors to the bottom for extra cabinet space. The open shelving is very short, but nicely fits our dutch ovens and cast iron wok on display. I knew the measurements of the drawers ahead of time, so I knew Id need to configure my ziploc bags and things like tinfoil carefully, but they do in fact fit. Its nice having a junk drawer, tea drawer, and drawer for potholders and oven mitts. (I wouldnt recommend trying to use the drawers for spices as I dont think they would fit, and if they did it wouldnt fit many.) Shipping took a little over a week. The initial packages arrived with the top part damaged on the corner and a missing piece for assembly (I received two of something I only needed one of, and then zero of the piece necessary for completing the assembly), so I reached out to Wayfair customer service and they sent out the replacement pieces which took another week, but besides the inconvenience of delayed assembly it was a smooth process. All in all, Im happy with what I got for the price (380 after sale price and 15 off coupon). I wouldnt pay more than that given that none of it is real wood and assembly took me 2 hours even with an electric drill, but for the cost it looks nice in the space and functions well.

Absolutely loved this kitchen island. It is TABLE height so it worked perfectly for for my built in desk system. The quality is very high for a flat pack. Directions were straightforward. I was especially happy that it only had drawers on one side, so I wasn't wasting any storage placing it against a wall.

This is perfect for the space I was looking to fill! I used it in my office, not in the kitchen. I wish the drawers were a little deeper, which is why I took off one star. I do think it may struggle to hold up with typical kitchen use, but for an office space, it seems pretty sturdy! I also had to drill my own holes for 1 drawer, but otherwise the assembly was relatively straightforward and I was able to complete it myself without assistance. The boxes were heavy, requiring 2 people to lift, but it was feasible to assemble alone, though obviously not recommended.

This kitchen island is durable and easy to assemble. The butcher counter top is perfect and just all the pieces are thick and sturdy. The only thing I wish was that its a little taller as its a bit lower than the standard counter height but we will make modifications later on and add height to it so its easier to use otherwise, its perfect for kitchen that are smaller.
