These dining chairs are very well made, very solid. And the seat cushion is nice and thick, firm but not stiff. It will break in over time. They were a bit challenging to put together And I would definitely recommend using a power drill to attach the seat, just be sure you have a long bit. They look so good with my new Wayfair kitchen table. Can’t wait to complete the set!

I am loathe to write an unfavorable review.  But in this case, it is a must. The reasons I chose these chairs was their style, and their solid wood durability. The product description says they are rated for 350 lbs. They are attractive, however if you look at my photo, the rattan on the backs do not match.  It is not the lighting, they are 2 different colors.  When I received the chairs, straight out of the box one was broken. I contacted the manufacturer through Wayfair and they replaced the chairs with no hassle. Great. Meanwhile, the 2nd chair of that set was assembled and was being used normally. When the person sitting in it slid the chair up to the table, it broke. She did not weigh over 350 lbs. In fact she was about 200 lbs. The chair is assembled using dowels of 1 to 1 14 inches, no glue and some short screws. You would think if a chair is built with sturdy wood, it would be around 1 inch thick. In the photos you can see the legs are decently wide from one direction, but are 12 wide from the other direction. Which would explain why it broke after only a week of normal use. Cannot recommend.
