I purchased this lift-top coffee table in natural, and I’m really happy with how it looks! The natural finish is attractive and gives the living room a nice, warm feel. The round drum design is also great for smaller spaces because it provides a good amount of surface area without feeling too bulky. The lift-top mechanism works well, opening and closing smoothly. I love having the option to raise the tabletop when needed, whether for working or eating on the couch. The hidden storage compartment is another nice feature for keeping items out of sight and helping the living room stay organized. Unfortunately, assembly was extremely difficult. The instructions were not clear enough, and it was very easy to make a mistake along the way. When that happened, I had to undo a significant amount of work to correct it. What should have been a straightforward assembly process ended up being much more frustrating than expected. This is the only reason why I didn’t give a 5-star rating. My biggest recommendation to the manufacturer would be to improve the instructions with clearer diagrams and more detailed, step-by-step guidance. If you’re assembling it yourself, take your time and double-check each step before moving on. Overall, I really like the finished table. It looks great, the lift-top works well, and the size is ideal for a smaller living room. Just be prepared for a challenging assembly process!

The reviews are true this is a complicated table to put together. The instructions are a bit confusing so I left a picture on how the wood pieces should be aligned for it to make sense. It did take my boyfriend and I more than 2 hours to build. However, once you get past the annoying building the table has a beautiful finish. The brown is a deep rich color and the ridges are on the slab itself it isn’t something you have to velcro on or glue like other tables i’ve looked into. The storage space is great and the mechanism to elevate the table top works great. I will say if you are looking for a more shortground level table this won’t work for you, the table is already pretty tall before pulling the table top upwards as you can see in the pictures.
