The bed is great very sturdy made with good quality wood. I would have given it 5 stars however the assembly instructions are very poorly done. The only other negative is the drawers well there is plenty of space for storge they are difficult to open and close, this may get easier with time unsure at the moment.

This bed has all of the features I wanted. The exterior frame wood is of good quality, but the interior matress support is free-standing (??) and presents an open grid to the bottom of the mattress itself. I am also disappointed that every exterior bolt is exposed and quite visible - 3rd photo The drawer slides are only centered and singular rather than attached at each side of each drawer (double) & the assembly instructions are very minimal. It was impossible to square the drawer slides onto the frame in the order that the instructions suggested. These slides needed to be attached to the exterior pieces 1st and squared - THEN the interior bed frame pieces should be attached to the slides to square them. The entire assembly is a very long, grueling process.
