I studied many rockers, looking for one that would fit a larger child, 9 -10 years old. I even wrote to customer service to get the height of the seat. I was sent the width and depth instead. I based my final decision on two things, the title included "youth" and the one review mentioned that they used it to " sit in and rock our grandchild". Those grandparents must be very small people as this is a small childs chair after all. The seat is actually around 9" from the ground, and too small for most children over 6 or 7. Additionally, as seen in my photo, part E, the front stretcher was not predrilled. I did not add the holes, as the instructions warned against, but I went ahead with the construction as I needed it right away. The piece appears to be from a different chair as it doesn't lay flat against the bottom of the seat either. I plan to give it away as it not the size I need and it makes clicking noises when rocked. I would like to have a credit to my account as I have purchased many items. So three things should be changed 1.Correct piece E and predrill it. 2. Remove the review that indicates it is sized for adults. 3. Add the height from floor to seat. Thank you. This is the FIRST time in many purchases where I have been disappointed

I am a short person, and many rockers’ seats are high off the floor, cutting the circulation in my legs. This rocker, however is the perfect height so my feet rest firmly on the floor, making for a much more comfortable rocking experience.

Just the right size - nice looking and sturdy - purchased so we can hold and rock my granddaughter comfortably.
