Definitely lower quality in real life than it looks in the photos. Drawers are cheap particle board and several of the pieces had large cracks where the holes for the screws had been drilled, as well as already-peeling veneer at the bottom. Thankfully the damage was along the back and we're not really planning on using the drawers for much (they're tiny anyway), so some strategic application of duct tape did the trick. They also sit crooked in their slots. And the instructions have you put the drawers together in a way that makes it way more difficult than if you just disregard the diagram and switch up the order of the steps. The bedframe itself seems solid enough and was relatively straightforward to assemble with the help of a hex screwdriver and careful use of a drill (yes, the instructions say not to use one; no, we didn't want to spend hours screwing down every single slat on both ends by hand). The dark wood finish looks OK. We got it as a guest bed that won't see regular use, so for our purposes the quality is fine. But for the price, I was expecting something less flimsy than what arrived.

So far so good. It looks exactly like the picture - so cute. The drawers are awesome, but they look a little flimsy. Hopefully they will last a long time if we make an effort to not yank on them.

I say okay because it’s a bit misleading in stating it takes a twin size bed. The trundle will take a twin length and width but not in height, therefore you have to purchase unwrapped cheap 5” foam (think camping trip), which I’m not happy about. That should be stated upfront!!! We are having to purchase additional quarter inch plywood to support the foam, we’ve been advise. It would also help to state how long the average persons will take to assemble. Took my husband and me 6 hours. The instructions were pretty accurate but some holes were missing, therefore making it difficult. The product looks good (no mattresses have arrived yet so it hasn’t been used) and it’s a nice, less bulky size compared to other beds. The drawers are an added bonus, but I would have sacrificed them if I’d known how difficult it was to find a mattress.

Perfect for my 6 year old son. He has a small room with small closets so the extra storage is great. Plus he’s excited for future sleepovers!
