The product title "Solid Wood Top Metal Base Writing Desk" is a lie! This is not solid wood, it has many layers of wood glued together. And the seams are visible on the top. I feel like I've been scammed. I would return if the packaging wasn't already recycled.

This top is really beautiul. Note that is reclaimed wood and the finish is done well, however it is not completely smooth (which I like)l.
