These chairs are plastic and are PATIO chairs. They are not indoor chairs nor are they rattan. The material looks much more like plastic in person. No matter that all of the photos are displaying the chairs for indoor dining use, the box the chairs are delivered in is labeled as patio chairs and that is what these should be sold/described as.
