I purchased two. The top is painted wood, but the sides of the top isnt painted to match. The color just stops, leaving the edges with a jagged paint line. The rest of the table is metal. Odd. I kept them both but would not have purchased if I had seen them first in person.

Goes well with our decor. Seems to be well made. I wish it came in a larger diameter.
