These stools are very easy to assemble, I'm a female and put them together myself. Initially I was a tad bit disappointed that they were not authentic wicker, as it appeared in the pictures. And I did not read in the specifications any listings of it being "plicker", or a plastic type wicker. However, now that I've had them a week, I'm actually more pleased that it's not wicker. We had a Halloween party just 2 days after getting them and they held up very well, and were extremely easy to wipe clean of food & drink spills. I've had other wicker stools that seemed to fray easily, as they are a bit more fragile & susceptible to spill stains. I believe this product will hold up better to the normal wear and tear of everyday use. So, I am overall very happy with my new stools!!

With a certain amount of 'on-line buying anxiety' I purchased 3 stools. They arrived in perfect condition, were extremely easy to assemble....and added the metal modernity the bar needed, with the warmth of the wicker. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!!! Cons: The stools are great for most people, however, I have a couple of very tall and larger friends who found the 'seats' too small.
