The look of the bookcase is really nice, and construction wasn't too hard. It is actually a 2 shelf top segment combined with a 3 shelf bottom unit. The side pieces are not one long ('board'). When I raised the bookcase off the floor where I constructed it, It snapped in two - where the pieces joined. I'm handy, so I'll find a way to repair it, but it won't be easy. The anti-tip bracket is awkward and attaches at the point between the top and bottom segments. My other comment is that the shipping package arrived bashed in - in 3 places, with the tape barely clinging. The box was very heavy and slippery and needed at least one binding strap so there was some way to grab it.

Perfect, exactly what I need. Height is great and each shelf holds enough weight.

At my age and moving in with my daughter, I have had to downsize and start again with smaller rooms and less storage. I love this bookcase! It is exactly what I needed to fulfill my storage, book, and decorating needs. Now to finish the rest of the room! I love the contemporary look and it is solid, and it looks more expensive than it was. My professional put it together in no time.

The shelves are not adjustable. Pretty good bookcase, but you definitely want to anchor it to the wall. Also you will need a drill for the drywall screws.

Sturdy, attractive and contemporary. This was a great purchase especially because it’s elevated. Perfect for a space with floor vent.
