We absolutely love our Mandujano Murphy Bed in the Barnwood finish. After downsizing, we needed our larger office to double as a guest room, and this bed is perfect. It’s solid wood, extremely well built, and the design is brilliant — when folded up, it looks like a beautiful chest of drawers, and the bottom drawer is a real storage drawer that holds pillows, sheets, and a blanket. We bought the matching mattress thinking we might upgrade it later, but it’s genuinely comfortable. When our twin sons were visiting, one son slept on it with a plush topper and liked it so much he stayed in the Murphy bed even after the guest room became available when his brother departed. The Barnwood color blends perfectly with my wife’s Italian furniture, and the stowed design leaves room for a wall‑mounted TV above it. The built‑in power module with USB and standard outlets is a thoughtful touch. This bed is stable, comfortable, compact when stored, and very reasonably priced for the quality. We’re thrilled with it. Full endorsement.

This bed broke almost immediately. It was not well designed as there is no support on the edges where people are likely to sit while getting into bed. It was being used by two small adults.

Nice and solid wood frame, beautiful color. Unfortunately, with the drawer addition, it takes a way from the sturdiness when you sit on the bed. Only three brackets holding you up. To fix it, you need to pull the drawer out a bit so it can sit on the dra×er, worried that it will scuff up the drawer in the future.

Material too fragile. A portion of top broken.

Looks nice and people can’t believe it is a bed. Don’t think it is as sturdy as I had hoped. Don’t think it will be good for 2 adults.
