Commode double 6 tiroirs Berta

My bureau was delivered today and upon inspection there is a large visible damaged spot on the front of the bottom trim. The piece is lovely and I’m so disappointed. I’ve always been happy with Wayfair but not this time. Please advise.

Buyer beware! Engineering and construction in Vietnam have a lot to be desired. First of all, thank you Wayfair for treating us very well by fully refunding our purchase price on this dresser. That said, box arrived OK, well packaged, no visible exterior damage, but after unpacking, we found more than half of the drawer sliders were broken loose from the drawers. Upon further inspection, we found that the sliders had been fastened to a 1/8th inch strip of Masonite glued to the drawer sides with very small, (1/4 inch long wood screws) which had simply ripped out of the thin strip of Masonite. Additionally the bottom left drawer face was completely broken loose and one of the sliders for that one had completely fallen apart and its' ball bearings were loose inside the cabinet, probably because it contained additional weight, a box with the 5 feet which are consumer attached. To have this kind on internal damage, with excellent outside packaging, the carton had to have been dropped at some point during shipping. We are actually glad it happened though. We considered the repair option briefly, but because the general quality of construction overall is so very poor, it would not last long in any case. We would not recommend anything made by this Vietnamese mfg.
