So easy to build, instructions were super easy! The cushions are very comfortable and firm!!

Please note, the three star review is only because this set didn't serve my specific purpose. If you have a counter that will accommodate a 27" stool, and if you aren't seeking something that seems luxurious, this is just right. But onward : The stools are lovely and were so very easy to assemble (an hour for three, total). As others have noted, they are very firm, and will likely not comfortably accommodate larger folks comfortably. For my part, they've changed the visual landscape of my kitchen (not a bad thing; the lower profile makes the kitchen look larger than the full-backed red stools I had before), but I do caution you to be careful about the measurement, and then double check it. I previously had 24" stools purchased from wayfair, which I loved. But over the years, cats and fat butts wore them down. So I wanted something the cats might not scratch, which would be new and firm. Succeeded on the last two points! But, the stools are so high, compared to my island, that it's like being in a highchair, and because I work at my island, my back is suffering from it. They also, despite lookng nice, certainly feel "cheaper." I'm okay with that, but you might not be. af The stools are nice enough - especially compared to the former after years of wear - that i'm making do, but for new buyers, please do take measurements. I'd recommend these for apartment dwellers - super affordable - and if you have a higher counter. They really are very nice, but definitely take measurements.

The actual seat part is very small uncomfortable to sit on. We returned it due to this.

They are good for counter height but if you’re on the thicker side then they might not be the most comfortable to sit on

Very comfortable and as short people we can reach the foot bars easily. Easy to put together.
