Love the looks of this porch swing. I ordered in black and the rope against the black looks so good.

This is a beautiful and well-built daybed! I picked the black color and in full size. It is huge and very heavy. It came in 2 boxes. We had someone assemble this for us. He said that it was pretty easy and that it took him about an hour. It comes with 2 sets of sturdy wooden slats connected by heavy duty strings. It comes with a little jar of paint which you may need for minor touch-ups after assembly. This daybed comes with 4 darker natural colored ropes which I think compliments the black daybed very nicely. The length of the ropes are adjustable but not to where I need it to be as we have a 12 foot ceiling in our back porch. I will need to see if I can use a combination of the rope that came with the daybed and chain that I'll need to buy to hang this off our porch ceiling. Planning on buying a waterproof mattress (since we live in hot and humid Florida) and adding an outdoor daybed cover for it. Will post more pics of it once it's up!

The package came somewhat damaged so I was a bit worried about the contents, but everything seems in perfect condition. I actually plan to hang this from my basement ceiling to use for guests since I don’t have a porch with a proper ceiling. I also think it will be a fun place to watch a movie. The rope is very heavy and nice quality. I got the black color.

While I haven’t had a chance to install the swing, I would be willing to bet it’s as easy as putting it together. It took myself and another adult less than an hour to build. There aren’t a lot of pieces. You’re using an Allen wrench and a drill. The material is on the softer side. You can see in the picture that there is a small dent I’m pretty sure I made while building it. It comes with a small jar of paint for touch ups, which you will need.

I bought the unfinished version so I could stain and seal the natural wood myself vs buying a painted version since this will be outside. It’s exactly what I expected and looks great on our pergola. Excited for lots of lazy swing naps in my future.
