Table basse Wilsey

The description for this indicated (in two places) that this included two tables. The price reflected the "sale" for two (sale price was $500.00 and another seller had the exact same table on their site, not on sale, listed for $300.00). Unfortunately, I was only sent one table. I contacted customer support and was told if the second table did not arrive within three days I could call back and they would send another to me. I unpackaged this heavy table and placed it in my living room, anxiously awaiting the second table. When I contacted Wayfair to let them know I did not receive the second table they sent a notification to the "warehouse" that I was never sent the second table. The "warehouse" said they made a mistake on the description and I was only every supposed to receive one table (for $500.00) and that I should return the table I already recieved if I did not want the one (half the size of a coffee table) table for $500. At this point I had already thrown the box away and had no way to box up an extremely heavy table and send it back. Honestly, this is a complete disaster. The customer service person is attempting to get my money refunded without sending it back; if I need to send it back it will need to go in a massive box that had an easy chair in it and I can't imagine it will be in any condition to be sold to someone else. The table itself is fine. It's not anywhere near worth $500.00... It is very heavy but very basic. The corners do not line up well and the hinges are very cheap. You would do better getting a coffee table from World Market.
