I really wanted to leave a positive review because these chairs are beautiful. The blue chenille fabric looks high-end, the wood appears sturdy, and they fit the style of my dining room perfectly. Unfortunately, my experience with the actual construction and quality control was disappointing.
The first set of chairs that arrived could not be assembled because the pre-drilled holes and components did not align properly. I spent a significant amount of time trying to make them work and even attempted to carefully drill additional holes in the wood to get the seat and back pieces to line up. The manufacturer was responsive and provided several troubleshooting suggestions, but nothing resolved the issue.
To their credit, the company sent me two replacement chairs. These were at least able to be assembled, but they still have noticeable structural and alignment problems. The seat, back, and even the legs appear to be misaligned. As a result, one chair sits taller than the other, and one chair’s backrest leans significantly farther back than the other. When placed side by side, the differences are obvious.
It’s frustrating because the materials themselves seem to be good quality and the chairs look great from a distance. However, the manufacturing inconsistencies and alignment issues are too noticeable to ignore and create a significant inconvenience. With better quality control, these could be excellent chairs, but based on my experience, the structural issues prevent me from recommending them.
