This was selected in large part because of the listed 350 lb weight capacity, as they were going to be supporting squirmy, large (but sub-350) adults on a carpeted floor where they couldn't slide around. I got four of them, and they lasted about two years. Normally I'd consider that entirely unacceptable- the initial, much cheaper wooden chairs I bought when I moved in lasted over a decade- but honestly by the standards of most chairs I've purchased in the past 4-5 years that's well above average. Two stars because they ultimately fell apart far too quickly and they advertise sturdiness, but not one star because I think for most adults they'll probably hold up OK and the bar these days is pretty low.

The chairs are sturdy and appear stable. Only had a couple marks on top part of chair will use a furniture marker to correct .

Love these chairs. They are solid wood and well made.
