Super nice chair. Also very simple to put together, just pop the two pieces together and you’re done! The chair is very supportive and extremely sturdy. Rolls so nicely– very little effort. The chair is lightweight but you can tell it’s very well-made. I could not figure out how to recline the top part as there are no instructions. Great for my son as he likes to put models together and it provides wonderful support. 

Great chair ergonomically. Seat cushion is firm but comfortable. The chair adjusts to the height as needed. The arm rests are comfortable. Assembly was easy with easy to follow instructions. The only problem I have is that the height adjustment lever is very loose and you have to fidget with it to work. I’m sure it’s just a defect with this chair not overall. I would order again!

Overall, the Hon Cipher is a wonderful office chair with materials that feel built to last. It arrived with no issues and was quick to set up. This chair looks great in the basalt (gray) color and stands out from your everyday black office chair. I work from home and needed a high-quality chair to sit comfortably. This chair delivers! I can sit for 3 straight hours before needing to take a break. This Hon has a firm but slightly soft cushion. The lumbar is moderately aggressive and works as well as a traditional lumbar support but with the added flexibility of being able to independently adjust its height. The casters are great on hardwood. I do wish there were instructions on how to use its various adjustments, there is only a video on how to adjust the lumbar. The Cipher looks like a hybrid between the Steelcase Think and Haworth Zody. While not the same quality as those seats given the vast price difference, the Cipher is a great value. One thing to note, the description is inaccurate regarding the arms ability to adjust for width.

This chair feels amazing. The adjustable features are easy. Feels good on my back. It can go well in any room. The color matches my office decor. I’m considering getting a second chair. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great chair. First, it comes in two pieces- set the rollers and base on the floor, then put the chair onto base. That’s it. Very comfortable design- I love the adjustable back supports. Very well made and very easy duty.
