Gorgeous. I’m still waiting on decor and the rest of the furniture but have my whole art room planned and finished at this point. In person, the piece has texture in the paint that is deeper and more nuanced than expected. This makes it all the more striking. Looking closely, one can almost see a palace on fire in the abstractions. An obscure reference, but I’ll take it. Slightly concerned with a mild mismatch of doors—like weight was put on one side in a warehouse. I am not sure if it is something to worry over but it is a worry.
