35 Stars - Beautiful Design, But Falls Short on Quality and Comfort Visually, this couch is stunning – exactly what drew me to it. But after setting it up, a few things stood out that future buyers should know. Assembly had some issues, and the cushions – while I understand they need time to expand – hang off the frame awkwardly out of the box. Even after settling, the comfort level isn’t quite there. You’ll likely need accent pillows to make extended sitting more enjoyable. The materials feel a step below what you’d expect at this price point. It’s not cheap, but at 800 I expected a bit more in terms of build quality and finish. It also seems like it would be a hassle to clean, so keep that in mind if you have kids, pets, or just live your life on your couch. That said, I’m keeping it – it looks great in the space and I don’t want the hassle of a return. Just going in with realistic expectations would have helped. If you love the look and are okay doing a little extra work (pillows, patience with the cushions), it can work. Just know what you’re paying for.
