I’ve only had it for a couple days. The velvet is super soft. The construction is sturdy. The assembly instructions could be clearer, but it was not difficult to assemble after I figured out how to place the bolts. The seat is firm but not uncomfortable. If you don’t plan to spend hours on it is perfect.

True to size. The color really pops and is a stand out piece of my new study fits the space perfectly. I only wish the back was higher. It’s more like an armrest. I was envisioning being able to take naps here, but I need to almost lay on my back to get comfortable. I like the idea of having a space for blankets. The material is pro velvet not fake imitation.
