Here's the review I wish I'd read before I bought this. I've had it for almost 3 months now.
Looks: It's beautiful
Assembly: Pretty straightforward with 2 people
Delivery: Some of the slats arrived with mold and it took three different support agents about two weeks to send me all new wood pieces.
That was all fine. Here are the challenges - the design of the slats on this bed go directly into a holder (so you can't buy extra slats and just put them in). The slats are far enough apart for my mattress to sink in between them. AND there is extra support in the middle of the bed, so the mattress dipped towards the head of the bed and towards the foot of the bed. I didn't have a box spring, so I bought a bunkie board to even out the slats. Didn't work and I ended up sleeping at a slight downward angle (because of the center support) toward my pillow. This made my neck hurt. I bought two slats of thin pegboard to more firmly even out the slats. That helped a bunch, but I was still sleeping at a noticeable downward angle that was hurting my neck. Eventually, I stacked extra pegboard by the head of the bed and that's been pretty good. I like the bed, not sure I would buy it again and go through all that hassle (especially transporting such wide pegboard, you need a truck).
