After the installer completed assembling the desk, I hated it. The engineered wood is very weak and the installer bumped a corner lightly and the wallpaper-finish peeled up on the corner. Since it has that same finish all over, it will definitely have issues with it peeling up and flaking off. I looked long and hard to find a desk like this with drawers and these drawers are so small, they can hardly hold anything. The top one is 10-3/4" wide by 7-3/8" deep by 2-1/2" tall the bottom one is 10-3/4" wide by 7-3/8" deep by 7-1/4" tall. They don't hold much. The first thing I had to do with my new desk was start modifying it because of its shortcomings. I found a company that sells rolls of 2.0mm clear PVC that I put over the surface of the desk to protect the engineered wood. I had to do that for the upper shelf and the lower shelf of the desk. As for the drawers, I bought a nightstand and put it on casters to sit under the desk and hold the overflow of things that won't fit into the drawers. I do like the desk, now, but I sure didn't need the added expense.

Build was easy to follow. The desk is sturdy and looks amazing. Love it!

Be careful when building as the material scratches easily but it looks great otherwise and the mechanism is not too loud

This desk is poorly constructed with the finished surfaces damaged during transport and easily scratched, dented or warped. The design was perfect with the riser and drawer space incorporated into a standing desk. Better materials are needed especially on the desk surface itself, especially for the price.
