I purchased two of these S-Racer gaming chairs about six weeks ago, and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing.
The first chair’s LED lights stopped working within just a few days. To Wayfair’s credit, they were quick to replace that chair, which I appreciated.
However, the other chair is now only about six weeks old, and the seam (hem) in the back of the chair has completely come apart, as shown in my photo. The material has split open, exposing the inside, and it’s not something that can be easily repaired. I even tried using leather repair tape to stop it from worsening, but that didn’t help and just made it look worse. At this point, the chair is basically ruined.
When I contacted Wayfair again, I was told there was nothing they could do because it’s outside the 30-day window. For a $200 chair, I would expect it to last much longer than a few weeks. The quality is extremely poor and feels very cheaply made.
As a somewhat regular Wayfair customer, this experience has been very frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend these chairs based on the durability issues alone
