Almost great, huge gap when extended! The good- it's great size for a small room and color is good for us and as pictured. Be careful of your chair width if you want a full 6 chairs to fit when extended, but it is possible with more narrow side chairs. The bad - What is terrible and shows the low quality is first a huge gap when extended. The outer edges close tight, seen in first pic, but something isn't straight and bows to leave a big gap in much of the table. Worse on one side than the other but true of both. Every crumb and tiny spill goes through to underneath, not to mention it is ugly to see the posts and carpet through the top. The finish is also suspect, needs more coating. I expect to have top damage pretty quickly especially with kids. Others noted this issue in reviews so I am nervous but was hopeful since not all saw the same that was one-off. It isn't. So, if you plan to keep a tablecloth on all the time you're fine, but then why bother with the wood and get something cheaper!

The dining table does not fit 6 people. I'm a little depressed about that. Also it arrived with damaged corners. But I'm working on getting the damage fixed. On a color standpoint, I'm really impressed with myself with my choice. It looks great together with my current furniture. I like the construction with putting it together. I like the quality as far as the assembly goes.
