Bureau blond

It's an adequate desk. I was surprised at how hard it was to make the pieces fit (I had to employ brute force occasionally - and yes, I was putting it together alone, as so many people do), and even with that it wobbles a little bit despite the sturdy look of it. One one side the holes for the tiny, annoying screws were in the wrong place so I had to make my own. The biggest surprise was the "floating" drawer- it has no runner so it just sits in the shelf area. The up side is you can switch it around in terms of location, but I can't help but feel a bit shorted. That piece also had some peeling paper (it's a paper cover over cardboard - again, that lack of quality was a little shocking). The main top and shelf appear to be better quality material than the drawer is made of. It looks fine and will serve it's purpose. But, there are a ton of similar desk options so you can probably find something nicer that is a bit higher quality.

Easy to put together. Looks very sleek in our home. We like it a lot so far
