I am very pleased with this bedframe. Great structural support for the price.

We love this trundle which we are using in my office. It was a challenging build but worth it!

I ordered the full sized bed with trundle bed for my grandchildren. This bed was not as easy to put together as I thought it would be. It is definitely a 2-person job for parts of it, mostly to be sure you are both interpreting the instructions correctly. The instructions are like one of those optical illusions that change with your focus and everything could be a different direction. All instructions should be like Lego instructions that have the new parts highlighted and the parts that are already put together darkened. The slats that hold the bed are not fastened down so if you are stepping through them without the mattress on, they will just come off. If you take the mattress off at an angle, the slats will come off. That is irritating, but they do seem to stay in place once a mattress is flat on it. The mattress needs to be at least 12 inches high if you don’t want a gap between the mattress and the bottom of the wood back so you don’t drop things behind the bed. The plug works great, but, in my opinion, should be on one side or the other. Probably the side with the shelving. The wood barn-like boards are DEFINITELY NOT white. They are an off-white to beige. The metal pieces are pure white. I was hoping for white, but I’m getting used to the color now. It is sturdy when put together, but again, be careful with the instructions. Change your focus and you will put things on backwards. I still have a small twin mattress on the bed as I wait for the full sized mattress to arrive. The drawers are made of canvas with flat bottoms inserted. The shelves are very sturdy. They are not adjustable. The led lights work really well, but if you are lying on the mattress, they shine right in your eyes.

First of all this is not a pop up trundle. The only way to bring the trundle up is to somehow flip up the lower frame and bring the legs down then flip it back down. The assembly instructions want you to actually bolt them together at this point so it is completely an either/or situation and not realistically convertible. The assembly is ungodly. The screws holding the top of the cabinet on are not concealed in any way.. not even with stickers. They are black and it looks cheap and ugly. There was a chunk out of the very front and center of the headboard that I didn't see until 4 hours in to putting the thing together. The drawer supports were misplaced and I had 6 identical instead of 3 right and 3 left, so had to break the stops off one side to get the drawers in. Altogether the size and look are what I wanted for the space but the lack of convertibility and aesthetic details are a huge bummer. You learn none of this until hours in to this project and returning this is an entirely unrealistic option. Do not recommend.

Definitely a 4.5. My niece just loves the LED lighting feature. I thought the dresser part on end of the bed was all wood but it’s partly fabric which may work in my favor with a child using it but the beds are pretty sturdy. Overall happy with price point for this item,
