Very sturdy metal, but not overly heavy that they are a pain to move. Love the textured design as well. Worked really well in a mid-century staging project.

I was looking for something that wouldn't require a coaster. I have a small child so I liked the idea of moving them around. But these remind me of camping cookware. The surface is uneven in places where they sprayed on the coating. Not my style.
