This item is listed as “solid wood.” My idea of “solid wood” is wood cut into planks from a tree. The manufacture’s idea of “solid wood” is plywood made from pressed wood chips with a cheap bright white coatingpaint with a wood grain finish and little paint chips at the cut edges. Of course you have to use their 14 supplied white wood grain stickers to cover up some of the metal joiners because that screams high quality design. The China manufacturer’s pink stained pen mark on one of the legs appears to be an added artistic bonus. Cute table, but not worth the money paid.
