I bought 3 of these stools for my kitchen island, but after only a couple of months the faux leather started to flake off.

Nice stool, I'm in a small apartment and the standard captain chair style seats are just too large, I opted for this stool as it fits nicely under the writing desk I use as a computer desk. When it arrived I took one look at the box and thought "no way, that box is way too small", but 5 minutes after unboxing, it sat proudly in front of my desk, in full size. I'm a big boy (250lb+) and it holds me just fine. Now my computer sits in the corner taking up little space, OH, did i mention it spins...wheee...
