Great bookshelf! The gold will be a wonderful accent in my hallway.

These are lovely shelves and a great value for the money. They arrived well packaged in two boxes. I purchased 2 to be used in my office and placed them sided by side. Pictures were taken during assembly. The instructions were clearly written by someone who did not speak English as their first language. However, assembly is fairly intuitive. Note the pictures included showing the different lengths of the pieces. You need to ensure that you use the small ones for the legs and the ones that are labeled B for the first set of shelving. Assembly is easy for one person, however care must be taken to not damage the paint. I have attached several pictures of what I did to alleviate scratching while assembling. Also, they are exceptionally heavy! In order to turn them right side up you really need two fairly strong people. My husband and I turned them over no problem, but it is a two person job! My greatest complaint about these shelves is when you are sitting or standing, you can see the rails for the glass shelves. That is unsightly and why I knocked off one star from my review. Otherwise, I’m quite pleased with these.

This piece is gorgeous and looks just like RH without the price tag. Easy to assemble also
