If we were just reviewing on the quality and beauty of the leather headboard this would be a 5 star review. However this headboard has been a complete nightmare. The first headboard arrived with all 12 French cleats (this is how you attach it to the wall) missing. I contacted Poly & Bark who told me I had to go through Wayfair to resolve the issue - even though their instruction booklet said to contact them directly. Fortunately Wayfair was happy to help me resolve the issue. Apparently replacement cleats could not be found to send out, so they sent me a completely new headboard. Thank you Wayfair! BUT once again we were missing cleats. This time only 6 were missing. There was a hole in the package and I assume one package of the cleats fell out. Clearly there is a packing and shipping issue with this product. I am fortunate that my husband is very handy and was able to devise a way to hang the headboard on the wall. We actually bought new screws & dry wall anchors as the ones that were provided were not high quality. The instructions say not to use power tools but then include a drill bit to use for pilot holes for the drywall anchors. Just absolute incompetence on the instructions, packing and shipping of this product. Save yourself the headaches and buy a different headboard.

Feels very high quality, the leather is soft and feels like it will be durable and patina over time. The hanging system is also great rails on the wall and back of the headboard, it is on the quick side so that may be a negative for some.
