My husband and I were on the hunt for an armchair to complement our spacious great room. We ordered this chair with the understanding that its dimensions might not be ideal. The delivery was impressively prompt, and the chair arrived securely packaged and in pristine condition. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the chair and its cushions. The wood finish is exactly as depicted in the pictures—a true testament to the brand's commitment to authenticity. Many of the reviews we read were spot on! One crucial aspect to consider is the chair's dimensions. Given the size of our living room and existing sofa chairs, the Gabe armchair did not blend seamlessly with our decor. The chair's back height is noticeably lower than that of our sofa, and the seat cushion is just 16 inches from the floor to the top. However, we found the seat cushion's depth to be more than adequate. Despite these size challenges, we decided to keep the chair, and it now occupies a lovely space in our guest bedroom, where it looks right at home. Ultimately, this purchase turned out to be a great addition!

Very nice. I put a pillow behind my back when sitting on it, since otherwise you would recline. I'm pleased with it. True to picture. Love that I didn't have to assemble it.
