Table basse Caya

Ive only had it for a few months, but its already warped and crackingflaking. Nothing else Ive bought has ever done this before and its kept in a cool and dry living room. Its one of the worst quality items Ive bought on here unfortunately.

The Caya Coffee Table is the perfect piece, size, and shape for our “snug” space. Another plus is the quick and easy assembly.

I would give fewer stars if possible. Waste of money. I bought this in April and now the top is so warped that I can’t use it. It’s only been used for coffee mugs over the past 8months- nothing heavy or hot. I’ve never had this issue with another piece of furniture… Disappointed that Joss and Main also did not offer any solution when I reached out.

While this table is beautiful, within a month of having it, the wood has already started cracking and "bubbling" on one of the legs and on one side of the table top. It also tips quite easily with a little weight put on any area of the table top where the three legs aren't specifically standing, so with a little kid, it's not the most friendly. I feel like that part is just an error on my choosing this design though. My poor review is more about the quality of the wood already deteriorating. It's beautiful in our room and aesthetically what we wanted, but I'm so disappointed it already feels cheap/like it's falling apart.

The table looked beautiful at first, but the veneer/edge banding began separating just over one year after delivery despite normal use in a climate-controlled home. For a $400+ coffee table, this was very disappointing from a durability standpoint. What was more frustrating was the support experience. I contacted Perigold promptly once the issue appeared and requested supervisor review. Despite multiple follow-ups, I never had direct engagement from a manager, and the case was ultimately closed with a scripted response directing me to the manufacturer. Sharing this so future buyers are aware of both the long-term durability risk and the level of post-purchase support to expect.
