Lit en bois massif Lind Spindle

Ok, giving this 4.5 stars for aesthetic and solid wood frame. HOWEVER, please be cautioned There were some dings and splintering that are fortunately hidden after assembly with one acception. The assembly itself self took 2.5 hrs with a couple sanity breaks. Each spindled piece has an item sticker that would be visible and thus needed removal. I ruined my nails and spent 10x as long removing stickers and the glue as I did putting the head and footboard together. After FINALLY getting this bed put together, I almost cried contemplating the labor intensive deconstruction that would be required to take it out of the room. This project is not for the faint of heart. It is, indeed, a project. I would not deduct stars as paying for assembly is an option. Also, an oversight on my part, but the bedframe will not house a mattress and box spring, only a mattress. My biggest frustration was the assembly, and second the blemishes on the frame. Of course I cannot handle breaking down to return for replacement pieces, but generally I would recommend if youre going for appearance.

Most of the assembly was easy, though getting the footboard spindles to line up and fall into place in the lower rail was a challenge. Some pegs and holes were not the right size so had to take some wood off the ends of the spindles to make them fit. But it is pretty and sturdy, and a good value for the price.

A lot of pieces to assemble but a beautiful sturdy bed. The screws do not all fit in holes on side rails. Took over 2 hours to assemble
