Thoroughly love these chairs. I bought two! Solid wood and the seat cushions are firm. The back cushions are just a little softer. The material lines up with the stripes on one chair, but not on the other; it's off by a bit, but I can live with that. They're so sturdy and my husband (harsh critic of cheap hardware) couldn't compliment them enough while putting together. They are truly exquisite and worth the money.

Prettier in person! Gave this as a gift to our son when buying a new home. It looks amazing.
