The quality is good, they arent super heavy but heavy enough to know the quality is decent. The seat cushion is medium hard but comfortable. They are the perfect height for the countertop and they look nice. My husband is 250lbs and he can fit in one snug and no uncomfortable for him. The back rest comes to your lowermid back.

Very nice stools. Fit perfectly at my kitchen counter. For those that said they wobble when put together just loosen the foot rest screws a little bit until the stool is level. Can't over tighten those bolts. Swivel bolts tighten all the way. Others said they are too small. I'm 240lbs and I fit in them comfortably. Seats are 17" across, same size as an office chair
